Are you a GRATEFUL person or do you tend to focus on the things that you don’t have? Do your thoughts often reflect a stream of negative, incessant thought all day that keeps repeating itself over and over again?

You may want to listen to what I have to say here because your thoughts may be having a direct effect on just how much exercise you engage in each week!

A very compelling study by psychologists listed in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology stated that “people who kept a weekly gratitude journal exercised up to an 1-1/2 hrs. more per week than their grumbling peers.”

People in the gratitude group had to list up to 5 things they were grateful for each week for 10 weeks. These participants also reported feeling more enthusiastic and determined in general…the combination of these feelings are just FUEL for exercise! This very noteworthy study can be said to imply that having a strong mindset is key to weight loss.

Now, if you have not heard of the Unstoppable Fat Loss Audios…well you are in for a treat. This program is critical to skyrocketing your fat loss success. They are jam packed with key mindset strategies that will transform your thoughts on a daily basis. You will hear amazing stories about people that have achieved incredible fat loss success once they realized their mind needed to change!

In conclusion, I would like you to take some time to reflect on your own daily thoughts. How would you sum up your attitude? Do you wake up grateful? Do you look around and truly see all the positive that surrounds you or do you tend to only focus in on the negative?

Obviously, having an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’ will get you closer to your ideal weight. So go and get yourself a small notebook and begin reflecting on all the greatness you have already in your life! You may begin with being grateful for the gift of ’sight’ to be able to read this…

Cheers to health,

Did you know that most Americans will consume over 4500 calories at this Thanksgiving dinner?!
Does that sound crazy to you? It should! Now that you are AWARE of the ‘over eating’ and high calories that tend to take place, make yourself accountable and stick to a plan.

I suggest that you enjoy your dinner. Have a glass of wine or two…enjoy the food. Enjoy doesn’t mean stuff yourself silly! Remember to keep the gathering about catching up with family/friends, it’s not all about the food! Likely, however, you will be taking in a higher amount of calories than you are used to.

Okay, so more importantly…what is your plan of action to burn off those extra calories?! Thanksgiving DAY (notice it’s only 1 day) does not mean you go off of your workout and nutrition plan for a week! So…will you fit in an extra day of cardio to burn off those extra calories? Will you go for a brisk walk? Maybe you can get creative and fit in another workout day? Or, you can eat really clean for the rest of the week.

Are you looking for that motivational burst to get you excited and pumped to workout each day?! Are you having a hard time sticking to a plan? Do you find that you will be totally motivated for a few days and then lack any desire to workout? If this sounds like you, you may want to check out Unstoppable Fat Loss. It is an audio series filled with 42 interviews of people that have achieved amazing fat loss success. Their stories will blow your mind. These people had severe limiting beliefs and were able to overcome these limitations to achieve the body of their dreams. I’m sure you will be able to relate to many of the people on these calls.

Whatever you decide, the crucial thing is that you do HAVE A PLAN in place. You are willing to take in the extra calories on Thanksgiving, but you know you will need to burn them off in some way. GREAT! You are the winner here! You are going enjoy your meal, guilt free, BECAUSE you have taken the responsibility to come up with an action plan.

It all comes back down to the basics here folks…PROGRESS = BURN MORE CALORIES THAN CONSUMED.

Have an ‘Unstoppable Day!’

Cheers to health,

I thought this was an interesting study to report from Boston College: “60% of the successful dieters had strong beliefs that they could handle uncomfortable situations. Their thoughts reflect a very positive and firm belief that they are in control of their eating.”
Whereas, two-thirds of the unsuccessful dieters reported worries about what other people were thinking of them.

You, too, can be a very successful eater. Work on these stategies:

If you want to be rock solid in your food choices, rock solid in believing in yourself, rock solid in all aspects of your fit lifestyle – the choice is yours. Tell yourself right now that you are not your past. Tell yourself that you are entitled to eat however you please. If you pass on the donuts at work, and co-workers begin to question you – stand firm. Simply state that you are trying to eat healthier and change the subject. This is about you, not about them.

You should not feel rude for turning down food or a second helping. You have made a conscious decision to take care of your health. You want to have more energy, feel more vibrant, experience more joy in your life. When you are in these awkward situations, keep reminding yourself why this is so important to you. Stay strong and focused. You CAN do this. Each time you are faced with these kinds of situations and stay focused, you will become that much more stronger.

Successful eaters also try to stay as conscious as possible when it comes to food. They stop to think before they eat that chocolate bar… “Will these extra calories fit into my food plan for the week? Or, can I find another way to celebrate this occasion?” I do recommend that you schedule in a treat meal or two during the week. This tactic does encourage you to stick to your plan because you do not feel ‘denied’ of your favorite foods.

I hope that these tips will be useful to you, especially over the holidays. What I strongly suggest is that you begin to imagine you are already at a big gathering with lots of tempting foods…how will you react? Picture how you want the night to unfold. This is very powerful. Visualize the foods you will choose and see yourself passing by those that are not conducive to your fit lifestyle.

Oh, and if you want to get really serious and get some serious results you may want to check out Unstoppable Fat Loss. These audios are packed with the key strategies that will skyrocket your motivation to create a rock solid mindset. You will learn how to transform your thoughts to the actions that will get you closer to your fitness goals. All aspects of your life will brighten. If you don’t have a strong mindset, just how long will your motivation last? This is just where its at folks!

You can do this!

Cheers to health,

Hello all,

I’ve been hearing lately from family and friends about how many books they have on weight loss. They have so many books on their shelves and are trying to organize them. Complaining that they have not even opened some of them. Or, that the book was not what they had expected…or that they liked the book, but it is flawed because they are not getting the results they anticipated.

Does this sound familiar to you? Do you tend to jump from one program to the other, hoping for some kind of a miracle? Do you truly think that you will find that one unique book and/or program that will solve all of your weight loss problems? Well, if you do, I’m sorry to tell you this, but you are going to be greatly disappointed. Why? Because there is only one true answer to lifetime weight loss success and that is:

Believing that you can achieve it. Whatever it is that you want, you need to have a strong belief that it is attainable. You cannot have an ounce of doubt, because if you do..that sliver of doubt can spread to like fire to affect your thoughts, which affect your actions, which lead to get you closer to or farther from your goals. If you really want to put your mindset to the test and gain some pertinent tips from the fat loss experts, check out the Unstoppable Fat Loss Audios. They are filled with empowering stories that have transformed many people’s lives. It is amazing how a simple thought can create a life…do you know how your thoughts are affecting the life you are living?

Once you have that strong belief in yourself…then your search for a suitable program will have a sense of purpose. You will understand that it is not how much you read that gets you results, but how much you APPLY on a consistent basis. You can read book after book and not apply a darn thing. Or you can choose to read one book and thoroughly understand it. Apply the information. Take daily action. Which scenario do you think will get you closer to your goals?

Please do not get caught up in ‘Analysis Paralysis’. We are so bombarded today with information on everything. Our brain can only process so much. So do yourself a favor…whatever it is you are currently reading…truly try to grasp the information. Apply what you’ve learned and see if it works for you. Give it 100%.

Take ACTION today!
