I have never seen an opportunity like this in the fitness industry. Trust me, you are going to want to keep reading and click on the links below. This is all thanks to my friend Nick Nilsson, the most creative fitness guru out there. He’s so creative that he’s adopted the nick name “Mad Scientist”.

Angie and I have both experienced great success with Nick’s workout programs over the past 4 years. I have also been using his programs to help my personal training clients achieve phenomenal results.

I gained six and a half pounds of lean muscle mass in just 28 days with his “Muscle Explosion” program. Angie firmed up her thighs and tightened her butt with Nick’s “Gluteus To The Maximus” program. This is also the program that I put many of my female clients through as well as some of the guys who want to build a butt because theirs is flat.

Lets face it. When you get a new workout program you expect to learn something new. Often times you discover that it’s the same old recycled crap on the market. One thing that I can guarantee with Nick’s programs is that you will learn something new from each one.

Here’s The Great News…

This week Nick is giving you some great samples from his programs for you to implement immediately. Simple visit the links below and sign up for the sample exercise and courses on each page. You will find the sign up box at the top right hand corner of the page.

Here’s Even Better News…

When you sign up for these sample exercises and courses you will be provided with a special link for 50% off of all of Nick’s programs. This is a really big deal. Why?

Because Nick’s programs are already a crazy bargain. Seriously! He’s been told for years to raise his prices but he prides himself on over-delivering.

With his programs being 50% off this week it’s an absolute steal and I am not exaggerating.

If you want to learn something new and you want to make 2009 the year that you finally achieve the body that you deserve, I highly recommend that you jump on this offer.

I own all of Nick’s programs and love each one of them. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.

Bonus:

If you take advantage of either Muscle Explosion or Gluteus To The Maximus send me an email with the receipt number and I will send you a link to a special private call that I did with Nick on how to make the most out of each of those programs.

Those two calls really helped Angie and I make the most out of the programs. Nick delivered unbelievable content in those calls. I’ll make a point to schedule some calls for Nick’s other programs to help you make the most out of them as well.

But for now I would like you to click on the links below and sign up for the sample exercises and courses. You’ll really enjoy them.

Metabolic Surge – This is a unique diet program offered by Nick. It’s definitely unconventional and that’s probably why it works so well.

Gluteus To The Maximus – If you want to learn some great new exercises to work your butt and thighs along with a variety of unique workout programs to help you firm your butt, this is one hell of a program.

Muscle Explosion – I gained 6 1/2 pounds of muscle mass in just 28 days following Muscle Explosion. The amazing thing is that I’m a self proclaimed hard gainer. This program blew my mind.

Best Abs Exercises You’ve Never Heard Of – Want a new and unique program to work your abs? This is one workout program that you must try. I love Nick’s creativity and I incorporate many of his abs exercises into my programs.

Hybrid Training – This program left me in awe. I had never witnessed this form of training. If you want to completely shock your system and force your body to change, this program with amaze you.

Best Exercises You’ve Never Heard Of – This was the first program of Nick’s that I ever purchased. It’s what turned me onto his work and made me a raving fan of everything that he creates.

Specialization Training – If you have weak or lagging body parts, then this program is definitely for you.

There you have it! Seven amazing programs offered by the “Mad Scientist” of the fitness industry, Nick Nilsson. Take advantage the free offers on each of those pages and the incredible 50% sale that he has going on for this week only.

Reminder: You will only receive the Special 50% Discount link when you sign up for the sample exercises and courses.

If you have used any of Nick’s programs I would love you to leave your feedback in the comment box below. I personally love each one of them, but I want to hear your input as well. So don’t be shy. Share your feedback below…

I survived the 28 day Muscle Explosion Challenge. I’m going to request that Nick Nilsson, the creator of the program, get some shirts made up with that slogan on them. It’s the least that he can do after what he put me through in the past 28 days. But it’s all been worth it. I gained 6 1/2 pounds of muscle in only 28 days. I never thought those words would be uttered out my ‘hard-gainer‘ mouth.

Following the Muscle Explosion has been one of the best things that I’ve ever done for myself. It forced me to step outside of my comfort zone. It forced me to try exercises and variations of exercises that I would have never imagined trying. I has totally transformed my physique, and I’m loving the comments that I’m getting from Angie and my friends in the gym. But most of all it’s transformed my mind.

I think that it has something to do with the challenge itself. I felt like a different person when I entered the gym. I had laser focus. I pushed myself harder than I’ve ever pushed myself in the past. I really wanted to put the Muscle Explosion program to the test.

The biggest thing that the Muscle Explosion program did for me was get me excited about putting on even more muscle. I’ve basically mapped out the next 6 months and Muscle Explosion is a big part of those 6 months. That in itself has a lot to say for the program. If it didn’t work for me I certainly wouldn’t be going back on it again. I’ll share my long term plan with you later this week.

Here’s another picture of me that I took today. So let me share some measurements with you. You already know that I gained 6 1/2 pounds of muscle in 28 days. Well I also gained 1 1/2 pounds of fat and 1/2 an inch on my waist in that time as well. That’s not too bad actually. I was hoping to add a little bit of fat to make sure that I was consuming enough calories to build muscle.

I gained 4 inches on my chest, which is really a combination of chest and upper back. I know my back grew for sure too. I’m much thicker now and love it!

I gained 2 3/4 inches on my shoulders. This has been totally obvious to everyone that’s seen me in a tank top working out. My shoulders a completely popping out now. Someone commented that it looked like I had 3 heads at one point

I gained 3/4 of an inch on each arm. Once again, it’s been a very noticeable difference to those who see me. Even my kids have been commenting on my arms.

I gained 3/4 of an inch on each thigh. I was hoping for bigger gains here. Maybe I will do squats during the ‘Structural Attack’ next time.

I gained 1/4 inch on each calve muscle as well. Again, I was hoping to get better results in this area.

I also increased my deadlift by 70 pounds. That’s crazy insane by any standard. The deadlift has become my favorite exercise. I was neglecting it and the Muscle Explosion program helped resurrect it.

I wish that I would have taken some shots of my back. I’ve achieved a very noticeable difference in width and thickness. I’ll do that next time for sure.

I love the results that I achieved in my upper body. My wife and friends keep telling me how much better I look. Extra muscle really makes a difference. Even though I was hoping for more gains in my thighs and calves, I’m still pretty darn excited. These are difficult body parts for me to make gains on. It’s got a lot to do with how tight the connective tissue is around those muscles. I’m going to keep working on that.

I’m not the only one that has experienced gains on the Muscle Explosion program. I just received an email from one of my subscribers Jeff Doucette. Here’s a Jeff’s before picture…Before entering the Muscle Explosion challenge Jeff had completed an amazing fat loss journey and reclaimed his health and energy. But he was feeling a bit skinny and he decided to step outside of his comfort zone as well and take on the challenge.

Jeff I just wanted to say how glad I am that you decided to go ahead and submit your pictures. It’s been great to have you commenting on my blog posts and sharing your experience with the program as well. It sounds like this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey of continuous growth and improvement.

Here’s Jeff’s after shot. Jeff gained 9 pounds of muscle during the Muscle Explosion 28 day challenge. He mentioned that his nutrition wasn’t the best and that he had gained 5 pounds of fat as well. But all in all Jeff said that people are commenting that he looks better now than he did 28 days ago even with the extra fat.

Jeff gained 1 3/4 inches on his chest, 3/4 inch on his calves, 1/2 inch on his biceps, and 1/2 inch on his thighs.

I have to agree with Jeff’s friends that he’s looking much better now. His shoulders are broader and he’s looking fuller than he did 28 days ago. Jeff I look forward to going through the program again with you and see if we can get even better results the second time around.

If you are looking to add several pounds of muscle to your body, the Muscle Explosion program gets my highest endorsement. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I’ve never come remotely close to gaining this much muscle in this little time. And my body has never felt better.

<a href="http://www.thefitbastard.com/muscleexplosion.php>I will be going through the Muscle Explosion program again starting on Monday August 4th. If you would like to join me during my second time on this amazing mass building program I will be offering another challenge and will do another q & a session with Nick and this time I get to share my experiences with you live on the call and help you get the most out of the Muscle Explosion Program.

If you decide that the Muscle Explosion program is something that you would like to try, or if you already own the Muscle Explosion program and would like to follow along with me in August, simply send me an email at scotttousignant@gmail.com along with your receipt for the Muscle Explosion program and I will grant you access to the call and fill you in on the details of the next challenge. Plus you will get the recordings from the incredible interview that I did with Nick at the beginning of this challenge. It was absolutely amazing!

If you don’t own Muscle Explosion yet, you can learn more about it by visiting…
www.TheFitBastard.com/muscleexplosion.php

I love the Muscle Explosion program and I love the results that it delivers even better!

I hope that you’ve enjoyed my honest review of the Muscle Explosion Challenge. I’d like to say that I gave the program my absolute best, but I know that I can do even better the second time around. I’m expecting you to hold me accountable to that!

I’ll be announcing the winner of the first Muscle Explosion challenge on Thursday. The winner will receive my programs “The Fit Bastard”, “Unstoppable Fat Loss”, “The Fit Chic” (for their significant other), and any 2 of Nick Nilsson’s programs.

Keep training hard everyone. The results are well worth the effort. You absolute get back what you put into it.

Have an awesome day!

Today marks the beginning of the final week of the Muscle Explosion Challenge. After 21 days on the program I’ve added 4 1/2 pounds of muscle and 1 pound of fat to my body. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a difficult time adding 4 pounds of muscle in 3 months let alone 21 days. This is a bit ridiculous. I can’t wait to see the final measurements at the end of the 28 days to maximum mass.

The workouts this week are the same as last week and I’m loving them. The stretch-pause style of training has been very effective for me. I love the pump that it gives me, and I love that it has helped relieve the pain in my left shoulder.

On Saturday I had an hour deep tissue massage which was awesome. I can take the pressure on my upper body, but I usually have to ask the therapist to ease up on my legs because they are so frickin tight. But this massage was different. The therapist noticed right away. He said, “Wow, your calves and quads are not as tight as they usually are, and you’re not wincing in pain.”

I noticed immediately as well. I couldn’t believe it. My connective tissues and muscles have actually loosened up while using the Muscle Explosion program. This is a huge deal for me. I know for certain that the tightness in my connective tissue has been the reason for the slow progress with building my legs and chest.

My eating has been great except on weekends. This past weekend I over indulged in cake, and chocolate fondu. I’m not going to beat myself up over it though. Most days are relatively the same when it comes to my nutrition. I’m a creature of habit.

I’m about to head out the door for today’s workout. The focus is on Chest, Back, Biceps, Calves, and finishing off with the core combo. I’m really looking forward to feeling the pump once again today. It’s unlike anything that I’ve ever experienced before.

I must admit, I’m a little scared of tomorrow’s workout. The burn that I feel in my quads during this workout is like a 5 alarm fire. My quads scream for mercy as I do the leg press and sissy squat combo. Seriously, the look on my face must be priceless as I scream in agony. Gotta luv it

I feel completely recovered after having the weekend to rest up. It’s time to give this week everything that I’ve got. I’m shocked that I’ve already packed on 4 1/2 pounds of muscle and wonder just how much I could put on this week. I’m almost at my goal of achieving 5 pounds of muscle gain during the 28 day challenge. I must reach that mark!

At this point in the game, although I have not finished the full 28 days, I am confident with the results that I have achieved so far that I can give the Muscle Explosion program my full endorsement.

If you want to pack on some serious mass, you must add the Muscle Explosion program to your arsenal. 4 1/2 pounds of muscle in 21 days is crazy. Lets see what it can do for me in 28 days.

Set your goals and go after them…

Day 17 of the Muscle Explosion Challenge is a day of rest which was much needed. This gave me the opportunity to take a few measurements. After 17 days I have gained 2 1/2 inches on my chest, 1/2 an inch on my shoulders, and 1/4 inch on each arm. I’m surprised that I haven’t gained any size on my legs after all the deadlifting last week, but maybe they still need to recover from all the punishment and abuse that I put them through.

It just goes to show that the mirror can be a really good indicator of the progress that you are making. It has been obvious to me during the past 5 days that my chest has been filling out quite noticeably. This excites me more than you can imagine because developing my chest muscles has been a major challenge for me over the years, especially since injuring my shoulder over 10 years ago.

The amazing thing is that my shoulder has not been aggravated at all while I’ve been on the Muscle Explosion program. In fact, it’s been feeling much better. All of this has been great news for me

I’m surprised that I’m actually able to walk today and that my legs aren’t very sore after the intense training that I put them through yesterday. What’s really sore on me is my chest muscles from Monday’s workout. They are very tender to the touch. What a great feeling

What I Ate On Day 17 Of The Muscle Explosion Challenge

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 4 chicken legs, large bowl of zucchini with garlic and cheese, Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar

Meal 3: Protein Shake

Meal 4: 3 whole eggs with cheese, 2 handfuls of almonds

Meal 5: ice cream on a waffle cone (celebrating the last day of school for the kids)

Meal 6: 1 can flaked white tuna, 1 tbsp mayo

I didn’t hop on the scale today or take any body fat measurements. I’ll be doing that tomorrow. Until then, it’s time to raise the bar when it comes to your training.

My legs are screaming at me after and intense day of training with the Muscle Explosion program. My legs just about gave out on me during the last set of leg presses and sissy squats. This was a brutal combo for this style of training. When I was doing the sissy squats my legs were shaking out of control while holding the stretch position. It was crazy insane and amusing all at once

Nick proved how mean he can be by following up this pair of exercises with a leg curl and stiff leg deadlift combo. Not nice Nick! Not nice at all. I went from thinking my quads were going to seize up to thinking that my hamstrings were going to cramp up and I wouldn’t be able to stretch them back out.

In addition to legs, I also trained triceps, shoulders, traps, and a core combo at the end. The stretch-pause training that Nick Nilsson puts you through in this phase of the program is totally awesome. I’ve never trained like this before and I’ve never experienced a pump like this before. I’ve felt intense burning in my thighs with other workouts in the past, but this training put all of them to shame.

I loved the triceps combo of close grip bench presses and holding the stretch position with the dumbbell lying triceps extension. That was killer!

What I Ate On Day 16 Of The Muscle Explosion Program

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 2 Chicken fajita, cup of coffee

Meal 3: 4 oz chicken breast and veggies

Pre-Workout Meal: Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar

Post-Workout Meal: Prograde Workout Recovery Shake with an extra scoop of protein, 10 grams glutamine, 2 chicken fajitas

Meal 6: 4 oz chicken breast, 2 handfuls of almonds, small protein shake, Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar

Relaxing in the jacuzzi tub is mandatory after today’s workout. I’ll take some time to stretch out. My chest and calves are sore and tight from yesterday’s workout.

Seriously… I am loving the Muscle Explosion program more and more each day. I’ve got to take some measurements tomorrow. Visual, I’m seeing some great improvements in my physique.

Time is flying by. 28 days to maximum mass will arrive before I know it. Catch ya tomorrow.

Today marks the beginning of the ’stretch pause’ training of the Muscle Explosion program. For the last remaining 14 days of the 28 days to maximum mass, I will be performing this awesome style of training. You may have heard of rest-pause training which is pretty darn effective. Well Nick’s stretch-pause training puts a wild twist to it and I’m loving it!

I achieved a ridiculous pump during this workout. Today I trained chest, back, biceps, calves, and traps. When I was doing the biceps curls I thought my veins were going to burst through my skin.

When I was holding the stretch position of the exercise I could feel the warmth of the blood rushing through my veins. And then when I finished off with the partial movement I thought I was going to explode.

When I got to the calve exercises my calves cramped up at the top of the first rep. I had to step down and stretch them out. I’ve been drinking loads of water, taking my multi-vitamins, extra vitamin C, and getting enough potassium. Maybe it’s just that they are growing and not used to the extra room that I’m creating for them with the stretching movements.

I can tell that I will need to stretch my calves out big time tonight.

The combination of the full controlled movement, then the full controlled movement with the pause, and then the partial rep movement is absolutely killer.

If this program does slab on significant muscle to my body, I don’t know what will. I consider myself a ‘hard gainer’, and I believe I’ve found the solution to any hard gainers problem. But we’ll have to wait another 13 days to find out

What I ate On Day 15 Of The Muscle Explosion Challenge

After a not so good day of eating yesterday, I’m right back on track today!

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 4 oz chicken breast, medium sweet potato

Pre-Workout Meal: Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar

Post-Workout Meal: Prograde Workout Recovery Shake with an extra scoop of protein, 10 grams glutamine, 2 chicken fajitas

Meal 5: 4 oz salmon and veggies

Alright, now I’d love to hear for everyone else who is following the Muscle Explosion program. How did you enjoy this unique form of training?

I can’t wait to report back on how tomorrow’s workout goes. You can count on me giving you all the juicy details. Catch ya then.

It’s day 14 of the Muscle Explosion Challenge and my muscles are finally starting to recover from the abuse that the bodybuilding mad man Nick Nilsson put them through this week. I’m definitely noticing some changes in the mirror and feeling much stronger. Kudos to Jeff Doucette, who has been sharing his experience on the program as well. He has added 7 pounds of lean muscle mass to his body so far. I’m going to have to take some measurements soon

There is a downside to having a day off from working out. My nutrition is always better on the days that I train. Today I slipped up a bit and had ice cream, cookies, and pizza. I was a bit unfocused. And boy do I ever feel fat and bloated because of it.

Today called for a low fat day and I blew that… but I’m not concerned.

What I Ate On Day 14 Of The Muscle Explosion Challenge

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 4 oz Salmon, handful of almonds, Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar, 5 grams creatine

Meal 3: bowl of ice cream, handful of almonds, protein shake

Meal 4: 4 oz chicken breast, zucchini with cheese, 3 slices of pizza, handful of almonds, 5 grams creatine

Meal 5: small bowl of ice cream, Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar, 3 cookies, 5 grams creatine

Ugh, I feel like crap just typing out what I ate. Not good with the junk, but at least I got some good protein in.

So this completes two weeks of the four week Muscle Explosion Program. The 2 days of rest felt so good and now I’ll be ready to hammer out the weight training tomorrow.

I can’t wait to start a totally new training style for the next two weeks. This is going to rock!

I’ll be back with some more updates tomorrow.

I’ve completed all 5 workouts of the ’structural attack’ week in the Muscle Explosion Program. I have to admit that the Muscle Explosion program has forced me to step outside of my comfort zone. I never would have thought of trying anything like this before, and some of the training goes against conventional bodybuilding wisdom. I guess that’s what makes Muscle Explosion such a powerful muscle building program.

My strength and stamina dropped today. With the increase in duration to 40 minutes of deadlifting, it took everything that I had to get through today’s workout.

Once I completed the workout I experienced a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. This week has been a grueling test of my mental and physical abilities. I’d say that I passed with flying colors.

I learned a lot from this week. I’m learning that over-training is a necessary component of muscle building. I’ve always been afraid to over-train. Maybe that’s why I’ve been such a ‘hard gainer‘ all my life

I learned just how powerful an exercise the deadlift is. I wish that I added up how many sets of deadlifts that I did this week. I feel like I’ve perfected the movement. I can do it in my sleep now with perfect form. Seriously, the movement became much more fluid and efficient as the week went on.

It’s been cool to see that my pecs are growing even though I haven’t worked them in over a week.

It’s been absolutely awesome to see that I’ve still got my abs even though I’m pigging out like crazy.

I’m really looking forward to 2 days off and resting my body. I’m anxious to see how my muscles recover.

I did an interview today with Nick Nilsson and will be posting it tomorrow. He shared some more great insights on muscle building.

Now it’s time to get a great sleep and allow my body to recover. I’ll check in with you tomorrow.

The second week of the Muscle Explosion program is a true testament at how our body can adapt to extreme situations. As the creator of the Muscle Explosion program Nick Nilsson says, “Your body is going into emergency mode. It’s digging deep into the reserves. What I’ve been doing during this 5 day structural attack, is controlled over training.

The Muscle Explosion program is designed so that your body has no choice but to get stronger and gain more muscle. It’s pretty wild, and when you see how the entire program is laid out, you really start to get the picture of power behind the program.

Increased Strength Once Again

For the forth day in a row I was able to increase my strength on the deadlift. Today it was only by 10 pounds, but still incredible that after training with that exercise hard for 4 days straight, I’ve become stronger.

I was able to last for about 5 minutes with that weight and then I had to drop it 20 pounds. Then another 20 pounds. And then another 20 pounds. I was spent at the end of the workout.

Once again, the duration increased by another 5 minutes for a total of 35 minutes of deadlifts. My shirt looked like I had just walked in from a rain storm.

Today, I’ve got a new muscle soreness… My deltoids. I was starting to get a bit sore there yesterday, but today I’m really noticing it. When you are holding heavy weight for that kind of duration I guess it’s to be expected.

This just goes to show how great of an exercise that deadlifts are. I have felt soreness in my thighs, hamstrings, calves, mid back, deltoids, forearms and my abs. No wonder Nick recommends using this exercise for the structural attack, and why he’s experienced gains all over as a result.

Honestly, looking in the mirror the past few days my pecs are looking bigger. And I haven’t even worked my chest in a week.

Muscle Explosion Day 11 Nutrition

Here’s what I ate today…

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 1 can of flaked white tuna, 1 tbsp mayo, 1 medium sweet potato

Meal 3: 9 inch chicken sub

Pre-Workout Meal: Prograde Craver (peanut butter), 5 grams creatine

Post-Workout Meal: 5 grams creatine, 10 grams glutamine, Prograde Workout Recovery Shake with 2 extra scoops of protein, whole wheat pasta with ground beef and yellow pepper in the sauce.

Meal 6: more spaghetti and meat sauce, bowl of popcorn, 5 grams creatine

Just one more day of deadlifts to go on this structural attack. I wonder what I’m going to feel like tomorrow?

I’ve got to admit, it’s way more fun eating on a bodybuilding program than it is on a fat loss program I’ve got no cravings at all. I’m so satisfied all the time that I don’t even think about junk food. It only seems to be when you deprive yourself of food that you begin to get those cravings.

Time to soak in the jacuzzi and prepare for 40 minutes of deadlifts tomorrow. I still can’t believe it. Part of me feels like cursing Nick because of the torture he’s putting me through. But I’ve got to thank him because I’ve never trained with as much focus and intensity as I have been on the Muscle Explosion program. He’s forced me to step far outside of my comfort zone.

You owe it to yourself to at least check out the Muscle Explosion program by visiting…

Catch ya tomorrow.

My strength has been increasing dramatically over the past 3 days of the Muscle Explosion Challenge. The crazy thing is that it seems to go against all logic. But Nick Nilsson predicted this would happen. This morning I thought there was no way that I would be able to lift more today than I did yesterday. I really had to psych myself up for todays workout.

My body was feeling sore from 2 days in a row of deadlifting. 20 minutes of deadlifting on Monday, 25 minutes of deadlifting on Tuesday, and now 30 minutes of deadlifting today. Each day Nick suggests that we attempt to increase the weight in addition to the duration.

Yesterday I felt strong. I felt ready for the challenge. Today was a bit tougher. I wasn’t ridiculously sore. I knew that I would be able to perform the movement correct and safe. But, if I wasn’t following the Muscle Explosion program, and I wasn’t so excited about achieving great results, I would have taken today off.

Boy am I ever glad that I didn’t take today off. I started with a weight that was 20 pounds heavier than yesterday, and 40 pounds heavier than the weight I started off with on Monday.

After I did a 5 minute warm up doing some lighter deadlifts I loosened right up and started feeling really good. I said to myself, “Bring it on!” I picked up the heavier weight and started the workout. I was floored at how long I was able to continue pounding out set after set with the same weight.

What really surprised me was that I finished off my workout with the weight that I started with yesterday. Now yesterday, this weight felt very challenging. There was no way that I could have gone heavier for the amount of reps that was required yesterday.

But today, that weight was totally manageable. In the last burnout set I was able to pump out 15 reps with that weight. Yesterday I was only able to do 6 at the beginning of the workout with that weight. Now I can do 15 reps after 30 minutes of deadlifting…

This is insanity!

I don’t know what Nick Nilsson and the Muscle Explosion program are doing to my body, but I’m really loving it!

What I ate today…

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine

Meal 2: 3 egg omelet, 1 slice toast, handful of home fries, 1 cup coffee

Pre-Workout Meal: Prograde Craver (peanut butter), 5 grams creatine

Post-Workout Meal: 5 grams creatine, 10 grams glutamine, Prograde Workout Recovery Shake with an extra scoop of protein, 1 chicken enchilada, home made chicken and vegetable soup (very hearty with big chunks of chicken).

Meal 5: Chicken and vegetable soup, 1 1/2 hand fulls of almonds, Prograde Craver, 5 grams creatine

Meal 6: 1 can of white flaked tuna, tbsp mayo

I am absolutely loving this journey and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings while following the Muscle Explosion program.

I’m training with purpose and passion and I recommend that you do the same.
