			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Absolutely Awesome!  Day 9 of the <strong><a href="http://www.thefitbastard.com/muscleexplosion.php">Muscle Explosion</a></strong> Challenge is total proof that Nick Nilsson knows what the heck he is talking about.  Yesterday I did 20 minutes of deadlifts.  Today I did 25 minutes of deadlifts.  In addition to increasing the duration of the workout, I also increased the weight.  In the Muscle Explosion book, Nick mentions that even though I trained hard yesterday, my nervous system would be better &#8216;tuned&#8217; to the exercise and I would probably be a bit stronger.  He was positively correct on both counts.</p>
<p>Today I really felt like I had a rhythm going right from the start.  Yes my muscles were sore from yesterdays workout, but I was eager and ready for the challenge.  I was totally in the zone.  I felt bigger.  I felt stronger.  I was ready to conquer what ever came my way.</p>
<h3>My Abs Felt Ripped!</h3>
<p>I am really glad that I took Nick&#8217;s advice and<span id="more-249"></span> chose the deadlift as the exercise of choice for this 5 day structural attack!  It&#8217;s obvious to me now that I don&#8217;t do deadlifts enough.  An even bigger lesson learned from yesterday and todays training is just how much of a total body exercise deadlifts really are.</p>
<p>My core felt like it was ripped to shreds today.  I really make sure my core is engaged before I begin my lift.  My abs and obliques are really feeling it today.  Not to mention my legs, lats, shoulders, forearms and lower back.  I&#8217;m totally loving this feeling!</p>
<p>I mentioned yesterday that there wasn&#8217;t a dry spot left on my shirt after the workout.  Well today there wasn&#8217;t a dry spot left on the floor under me.  I was wiping myself with a towel between sets, but would begin to drip sweat during my reps.</p>
<p>This workout really gets the heart pumping!</p>
<p>I have also mentioned that the reps, rest, and weights are very key to the success of this 5 day structural attack.  I can&#8217;t reveal that on this blog, but I honestly can&#8217;t see it working any other way than the set up that Nick has.</p>
<h3>Day 9 Nutrition</h3>
<p><strong>Meal 1:</strong>  3 whole eggs with salsa, 2/3 cup oatmeal with mixed berries, Prograde VGF+25 multi-vitamin, Prograde EFA-Icon, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine</p>
<p><strong>Meal 2:</strong>  2 home made enchiladas, Prograde Craver Meal Replacement Bar</p>
<p><strong>Pre-workout Meal:</strong>  Prograde Craver, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams glutamine</p>
<p><strong>Post-workout Meal:</strong>  Prograde Workout Recovery Shake with 2 extra scoops of protein powder, 5 grams creatine, 10 grams glutamine, roasted red pepper dip with 12 whole wheat triscuits.</p>
<p><strong>Meal 5:</strong>  12 Triscuit crackers with roasted red pepper dip (home made: 4 red peppers, 2 egg plants, garlic)</p>
<p><strong>Meal 6:</strong>  5 grams creatine, 3 oz chicken breast</p>

<p>I have never been so excited to see what kind of results the Muscle Explosion program is going to produce for me.  I&#8217;m really feeling it all come together.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m giving this program 100% of my effort.  I&#8217;m following it to a &#8216;T&#8217;.  I want to provide the most honest review of the Muscle Explosion program and the only way that I can do that is by giving it my most honest effort.  There&#8217;s no going half-assed here.</p>
<p>The Muscle Explosion program is quickly changing the way I view conventional bodybuilding.  I&#8217;m loving Nick&#8217;s unorthodox approach and unconventional methods.  I&#8217;m so glad that I&#8217;ve had an open mind and have been willing to try these crazy antics that Nick has come up with.  &#8220;The King Of Variety&#8221; is living up to his name.</p>
