Khandi,

When it comes to diet, detox, exercise, and all these things... results are always unique and individualized.

All that I can say is from my own experience. I honestly still can't get over how the past week went for me and how my cravings are totally freakin gone.

I've done several cleanses before and swore that I would never do one again. But this one looked doable and I wanted to make the most out of this program so I started with the detox which isn't mandatory by the way. It just gets you primed for the real program.

Also, I'm in the right frame of mind right now and knowing that I'm committed to you and providing the best feedback possible, I've got to give this 110% of my effort.

I'm glad that my wife Angie is doing this with me and that she will be documenting her journey beginning next week because it will give 2 totally unique perspectives.

Angie hates dieting by the way. At first she was resistant to all of this. She naturally eats pretty darn healthy without any structure at all.

Thank you for sharing your story. It happens to the best of us man. The difference is recognizing what has happened and learn from it so it never happens again, and share it with others so they don't make the same mistakes.

Have a tremendous day!

Alisen... Great questions!

Now my question to you... Why is this so important to you?

In such a short comment I see so many limiting beliefs. I hear all about your past and what's been holding you back. You need to be aware of these limiting beliefs and catch yourself before you say them.

This is why I created www.UnstoppableFatLoss.com

It teaches you to overcome these types of things and much much more.

I've been dieting my whole life... I'm overwhelmed... I don't know where to begin... Always put other things first... Find it so hard to commit... procrastinate.

What you have just done is given yourself the identity of being this person who struggles with weight loss and always will even though for some reason you really want to lose the weight.

Weight loss is not your goal Alisen. I know it's much bigger than that.

It's very common for women to put everyone else and everything else before themselves. God bless you for that... but you deserve to put yourself as #1 because everyone else will benefit even greater when you are at your best.

No you have a choice. You can remain to be Alisen the woman that struggles to commit to her health... Or

You can be Alisen, the UNSTOPPABLE woman who thrives with energy, confidence, enthusiasm, all do to her healthy and active lifestyle that is so incredibly easy to follow because it's actually fun to be the best that you can be.

I'm sure that you know where to begin. The answers are probably right there in front of your face, but because you have the belief that you don't commit and how difficult it's going to be and how you've been overweight for years... you can't see what's right in front of you.

You haven't even read the entire book and you are already questioning yourself.

But trust me, you are totally not alone in this. The majority of people are going through the exact same thing.

It's time to adopt new beliefs and attitudes. Let that ambitious woman shine through. I want to feel it through my computer screen.

I want to hear about the life that you deserve and the life that you WILL have!

Read the entire book. Then read it again. I've read it 3 times. That's why it took me 6 weeks to actually start the program.

Things don't happen over night. I had great results in my first week. But look, it took me 6 weeks to get here.

You need to look at the big picture. You have your whole life to achieve this dream. Don't force it to happen in 3 months.

Your journey is not going to stop once you lose the 60-70 pounds. Become better each and every day. Your potential is greater than you can even imagine at this very moment.

You are reading the perfect book for yourself at this very moment. Jon and Jan were exactly like you. Listen to their stories and struggles.

They overcame their limiting beliefs and their are thousands of people that have done the same.

That's why I interviewed so many people for Unstoppable Fat Loss. Rob Cooper was just like you. He changed his beliefs and attitude and lost 300 pounds and has kept it off for 10 years.

Others have lost over 100 pounds and one of them went from obese to gracing the cover of fitness magazines in their 40's.

If John Riccio and Nino Savona can achieve physiques that are the envy of 99% of the population and they faced obstacles that nearly all of us can't even imagine... Why the heck can't we?

The entire plan for nutrition that you need is in the Every Other Day Diet. But it won't do you any good if you believe that it's just going to be like every other time you've failed in the past.

It's time that you break out of this. I don't care if it seems fake to think of yourself as lean and sexy. Fake it till you make it baby and watch it happen.

But what it all boils down to is what do you really want and why the heck do you want it?

Trust me... losing weight is not what you want.

Let me see some action Alisen. You can do this!

Yep, Angie did well on the program as well. I'll post her picture tonight or tomorrow.

Angie's thin. She doesn't need to lose much. She's got ripped abs, but carries some fat in her thighs.

That's why she's just following the Every Other Day Diet Lifestyle Plan and not the Extreme Plan like I am.

She's a very busy mom and studying for her ISSA personal training course right now. That's why she hasn't had the time to post.

She'll be more regular with the posting next week.

She will definitely inspire you and all the other "Going-To-Be-Fit-Chics" ;)

Hi Scott,
I think the 4.5 lbs of fat loss is GREAT! But, I have a couple comments/questions; first, Angie quit post after a few days. How did she do for the first week? Was she as successful in keeping the cravings down as you? More important to me (and probably MOST of your hope-to-be fit chics) did she lose weight? How much? Was hers also fat loss or more of a combo?
Thank you for your time.....

Scott-I love the honesty you give us.It is apprecaited. You really inspire me.

I am 33 and just graduated from massage school.I put on major weight while in school besides the weight I carried before. I need to loose 60-70 lbs.I have just started reading EODD and I am liking it so far. But, how do I start? I feel like I have been dieting my whole life. I feel so overwhelmed, that I just don't know how to begin. I feel like every monday was "the day" I was going to start my new diet. I like to workout, but it seems I always put other things first. How do I "just do it". Why does a very abitious woman, like me, find it so hard to just commit to something that is so important to me?

Hey Scott, i'd like to say that i think you are fabulous with how honest you about your own weight loss struggles and the irony that you worked in a health club and then locked your self away to write fitness booKs and gained weight...I'm a certified personal trainer - decided to put my own body's fate into my own hands but i gained 15lbs when i was studying and training to be a personal trainer! and i'm constantly struggling with my own weight...i may try this EOD eating plan myself since you've had such great results.BTW- your journal makes DEtox sound like heaven!!! LOL...never heard of it sounding like that and i have doubts that i can curb my cravings like you did...do you think it can help anyone's cravings and addiction to caffeine??

Absolutely 100% this diet would be perfect for someone that needs to lose 50-60 kilos.

You would be perfect starting off with the Primer Plan for a couple months and then transition into the Lifestyle Plan. I'm going to define those today.

That's one of the biggest things that I love about this diet. It's got 3 different phases that fit into all different lifestyles and how much you would like to lose.

Someone who has a large amount of weight to lose would excel on this and even an athlete would excel.

Thank you for your question and comment. Feel free to keep asking away ;)

Hi there,
This diet sounds really great and congratulations on the weight loss.
I have a question though!
Do you think this diet is going to work for someone who has to loose a lot of kilos and when i say lot, i mean around 50 to 60 kilos!
I need to loose that much, and i would really appreciate your opinion about this!

Many thanks in advance,
And again well done!!
